M$ gives LIVE customers the boot

M$ is now using it's Xbox Live technology to check each Xbox on it's service to see if the hard drive has been replaced. If your hard drive is any different than the one it came with, you will be banned, even if your new hard drive is locked.

Download Xbox Live Code

This file above is a disassembly of Xbox Live's security code as of March 6 2004, and it shows

that Micro$oft is directing Xboxes to send their hard drives' identification back to Micro$oft. Who exactly sees this data and what they do with it is unsure. If you remember M$ got in a lot of trouble over this when they were planning Win XP. But now it seems they are doing the same thing but with your console. I mean don't we own the console, can't we do what we want with it? Your thoughts?
