Xbox360 to have HD-DVD?

A report out of the UK speculates that the 360 will have the HD-DVD format on some consoles.

While they say that it's too late to install the new drive on all 360's because they are already in production for the xmas season they do believe that MS will supply the drives at a later date.

This fuels the battle over the next portable media format at HD-DVD and Blu-Ray are both vying to be the next format. PS is apparently going to support the Blu-Ray.

He only stopped to relieve himself and take quick naps.

Apparently the cause of death is a heart attack brought on by exhaustion.

Now here's a hack worth talking about

It seems like lately the "hacks" we report about are nothing more than simple manipulation of existing hardware or software.

But I must say, this hack has to be one of the most original I've seen in a while.

It allows you to convert your Nintendo DS into a GPS that will download Google maps.

Check it out here.

No Gizmondo till October

Guess you're heartbroken over this huh?

It's true - confirmed by the Register that the handheld, which was initially due in just a few days, has been pushed again - this time to October.

Company officials say its because August is a slow sales time, however a review of the site finds that many games aren't even ready for sale yet leading some to speculate that they want something to sell in addition to the console to help move it along.
