Well Kinda.
This guy created a head tracker for his xbox. It cost him about $6 and what it does is track his head movements and translate them for the console.
So it is kinda like VR.

If you're into hacking, and are good with a soldering Iron (and don't mind turfing one of your Xbox controllers) I'd check this out!
