PS3 will not support DualShock

Sony has recently announced that due to its interference with internal sensors, the PS3 controller will not have the famous DualShock force feedback the PlayStation is famous for.

A press release issued by Sony states that "Pursuant to the introduction of this new six-axis sensing system, the vibration feature that is currently available on DUALSHOCK and DUALSHOCK 2 controllers for PlayStation and PlayStation 2, will be removed from the new PS3 controller as vibration itself interferes with information detected by the sensor."

That's going to suck especially for die hard PS gamers who like the vibrating controllers. Makes me think it will negatively affect game play. What do you think?

I guess they figured it'd be easier to "stretch" the truth a little? :)
