"Creative" ads - are they really that creative?
In Our last entry we showed you some of the more interesting PS2 ads which have recently turned up.
While some are creative, there are some which are disturbing. In this article we have some more of those disturbing ones.
While some may call this art, or symbolism, I don't really think I see it. After all, you are selling a game console.
Take this one, for example:
Now perhaps I'm not artsy enough but I don't really get it. I mean I understand what's happening but I don't get how it relates to gaming.
Similarly, this image:
while understandable I also don't get. I mean, I can see the now famous controller symbols, but why are they hacked into these people? It seems like a gruesome way to see games to me.
And then there's this one:
Again, very symbolic of something - just not sure what it is.
In any case, all creative if somewhat hard to figure out.
