Everything is Wii
It should be no surprise that the world is eagerly awaiting the Wii.
So when a Japanese mag performed a casual survey, we weren't surprised to read that more people are waiting for the Wii than the PS3. We've seen similar results with other surveys which have been taken around the world.
Here’s what gamers said are the consoles they’re most interested in buying:
73.6%: Wii
16.7%: PS3
9.7%: neither
But wait, there's more.
Of retailers, here are the consoles they find most appealing:
65.9%: Wii
18.8%: neither
15.3%: PS3
Below are game maker’s interest in the PS3 and Wii.
69.7%: Wii
27.3%: PS3
3%: neither
So we think it's pretty clear: The Wii is going to be the hands down favorite this year. So when will it become available? Well that depends where you are.
We recently reported how it could be avaliable in November and we've found more proof.
A check at Amazon.ca (among others) has a game available on October 26.
Now I don't know about you, but I'd prefer to have the console in my hands BEFORE I buy a game, so my bet on the release date is last week of October.
