How Atari Lowballs PLUS console wars revisited

I'm feeling lazy today so I'm just going to point you to a couple great articles on Next-Gen.
The first is actually some refreshing news. According to a recent article on Next-Gen Atari is going to offer a 360 game for...wait for it..... 40 bux!
Now you're probably thinking - $40?? What kind of crap are they trying to sell us for that? Well, how about Test Drive Unlimited. That's right - a modern, fully functional game at 2/3 the price of regular games. Way to go Atari!
And second today is about how the console "losers" seem to be the ones bringing innovation to the console world.
Consoles like the Dreamcast, Turbografx-16 and more innovated during their day and even still hold up to todays consoles in some instances.
I've always been a huge fan of the Dreamcast - I still have mine and do play it occasionally. I'm still amazed at the quality of some of the games. I still remember playing "Soul Reaver" until 3AM. Sitting in the dark, with the surround sound on you really feel like you are there, and when something comes up behind you...Well, you get the picture.
So in honour of this article and all those dead but not forgotten consoles I salute you!
