More problems plague PS3

NexTechNews has a story about the PS3, but it's not a flattering story.
In fact it's far from it.
It appears that the cell processor - the core of the console - is so hard to manufacture that they are behind in shipments.
An IBM Semiconductor VP says they're "lucky to get 10 or 20 percent" out of a chip like the Cell. That means they are throwing out 80-90% of their production.
This won't be good for Sony as they are already fighting negative press about the price and poor performance. When you add this bit of news it makes me wonder if anyone will be coaxed into spending on the PS3?
