Nintendo Confirms Wii Numbers
Whew!! That's good!
Nintendo has bashed all rumors saying that Nintendo would only be shipping a paltry 1 million Wii consoles worldwide. In fact, that number is about 1/4 of what the company has annouced it will ship.
IGN is reporting that Nintendo has announced plans that it expects to ship 4 million Wii consoles by the end of 2006.
This is great news for those of us who want one. But wait there's more.
In an Interview with ABC, Nintendo U.S. boss Reggie Fils-Aime says he plans to be there personally handing out the first Wii consoles in NYC.
