PS3 Countdown - 1 week and 1 day to go!
Well almost everyone is talking about it - the PS3 release. The new console is even getting local news coverage where I live. It is the topic of "special reports" and the like.
So I thought it would be a good time to do a wrap up of some of the PS3 buzz on the web the past couple of days.
So lets start with a lengthy interview with Dave Karraker, new senior director of corporate communications for Sony.
Now, at first thought you may think "poor guy - joining Sony just at the time when the company seems to be suffering blow after blow, not to mention how poorly the PS3 is being percieved by the blogging community." But before you think that let me give you a little history of the guy.
You see, Dave is no stranger to contoversy. He was there working for Sega in the Dreamcast years, and he was with Martha Stewart as well. So he knows a thing or two about turmoil. And if you don't believe me, just read the interview.
In other news, an article on the Red Herring tells us what Atari thinks of the new PS3. And believe me, it isn't good.
So what do you get when you throw overa dozen LCD's into a car with a PS3? This Scion. 'nuff said.
In our next PS3 post, we'll see if we can round up all the PS3 ads circulating the web. Not the fan ones but the "real" ones to see if we can get more info on the soon-to-be-released console.
