DON'T Free Paris!
I can't believe what our society is coming to.
Now normally I'm not political. I try to keep fairly even on this blog. But when I heard that Paris Hilton has a petition on her MySpace to keep her out of jail I couldn't believe it.
She broke the law and now she wants special treatment? What's up with that? Personally I don't think she deserves special treatment. In fact I know she doesn't.
You know, if she did a little drunk driving that's one thing. After all she got nothing but a slap on the wrist for that. But to then violate her probation that's another, and for that she should go to jail.
In reality what should have happened in the first place for her is counceling.
Really, it should be the first option for anyone, celeb or not. In fact, it shouldn't be an option but mandatory. Some place that isn't really a country club like a lot of these places are, but instead a place where she is forced to stay for the duration of her counceling session.
Cause think about it - Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Nick Nolte, plus tons of other celebs go tie one on then drive home. Hello?? Can't afford a cab?
Nah, I say, throw the book at her - make her spend 45 days somewhere. Don't let her off with another warning because you know she'll just do it again.
